Opera alum Heidi Skok revisits Fine Arts Association
Growing up on a farm in Concord Township, Heidi Skok admitted it is a far cry from opera in New York.
"I used to sing to my animals in the barn. I used to sing to my rabbits, to my cats," Skok said. "Never thought I'd be on The Metropolitan Opera stage."
The summer of 2009 marks the inaugural season of RESONANZ Albany Singer Intensive Festival (RASIF) at The College of Saint Rose, in Albany, NY. Founder and Artistic Director Heidi Skok has assembled a very gifted faculty to work with 17 talented singers from around the country.
